Pre-planning provides peace of mind for everyone involved. A carefully preplanned service can be the most comforting to your family; it spares them from having to face decisions that can be both emotionally and financially difficult at the time of death. It will give them lasting peace of mind to know that they have acted in accordance with your wishes.

Making pre-arrangements can be as simple or as detailed as you wish. You can make the selection of the services, casket, music, etc. or simply record the information that will be needed for legal forms, obituary and other paperwork.

Although not required when making pre-arrangements, y0u may choose to set aside funds to be used for future funeral services and final expenses.

Should we pre-finance our funeral?

1.    Most people are managing their money well and should not worry about investing funds with a funeral home for future funeral services. Your money, after all, is your money and you should control it, not us. If you have life insurance then that is the investment tool created to assist with end of life issues such as funeral and burial services.

2.    There are those that have their house in order financially and own life insurance, but just want to pre-finance for their own peace of mind. It is hard to argue with peace of mind, and of course, we have several investment vehicles to assist you in setting aside funds to be used for future funeral services.

3.    There are those, though, that have no life insurance and they need to pre-finance their future funerals to spend down their assets to satisfy Medicaid Issues, and for qualifying for quality of life assistance. We can help our friends who find themselves with these issues to place funds in an irrevocable funeral plan to be safeguarded for future funeral services, without being held against them when qualifying for help.
